Course Overview:

This training is designed as an introduction to flexography, suitable for anyone involved in the flexo industry including sales, customer service, administration, marketing, etc... Content covered will include the history of flexography, an overview of the flexographic market, the flexographic printing process, photopolymer plate, anilox, doctor blades, substrate and ink options, color and design considerations, and more. This two day training addresses various topics through hands-on activities accompanied with presentations and discussion and at the end participants will leave the class with a strong understanding of the fundamentals of flexographic printing and be able to troubleshoot a variety of flexo related issues upon return to their respective facility.

  • More than 25 critical problems appeared in flexographic printing, with possible causes and solutions.
  • How to calculate OEE and ink mileage in the flexographic industry.
  • Environmental impacts of flexographic printing, possible pollutants and its treatment in order to promote green manufacturing.
