Course Overview:

This training is designed as an introduction to offset printing, suitable for anyone involved in the printing industry including sales, customer service, administration, marketing, etc... Content covered will include the history of offset, an overview of the offset market, the offset printing process, photopolymer plate, doctor blades, substrate and ink options, color and design considerations, and more. This two day training addresses various topics through hands-on activities accompanied with presentations and discussion and at the end participants will leave the class with a strong understanding of the fundamentals of offset printing and be able to troubleshoot a variety of offset related issues upon return to their respective facility.
