Job Description

• Oversee the instrumental measurement of color and the accurate communication of color to computer-aided design systems;
• Identify colours required by clients and develop processes for accurate bulk reproduction;
• Develop new dyes and pigments to provide specified colors;
• Formulate dyes and pigments with stability in new substrates or across a range of technologies;
• Test new and rival products to establish claims for marketing and promotion to clients;
• Monitor color reliability during production of dyes and pigments and application to products;
• Anticipate the colourfastness and stability of dyes and pigments under simulated conditions over typical life-spans;
• Refine processes for the production of dyes and pigments to save costs and minimize environmental impact;
• Liaise with factory production managers and provide technical support to dyers and other colouring agent users;
• Sell dyes, pigments and colored products and act as a link between producers, suppliers and end users;
• Manage the work of technical assistants to global color consultants and trainers.

Expectation

• MS/ Master Degree- Graduated at Printing Industry major is preferred
• At least 10 years’ experience in colors / printing industry with strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• Have experience in quick print industry is an advantage.
• Knowledge on color theory, printing process adequate customer management skills. Understand color of offset, flexo and rotogravure printing and traditional printing. 
• Color knowledge of printing industry is required.
• High responsibility, can do attitude & Strong teamwork
• Willing to travel domestic & overseas to deliver training and consultancy to printing customers.
• English fluently – spoken, listening and written and presentation.
