Job Description

• Provides technical on-site training and consultancy with all aspects of printing to customer.
• Evaluates flexographic press proofs for difficult printing requirements and communicates/ resolves gap.
• Support customer for developing printing operation capital planning and support improvement needs in the flexographic printing department.
• Prepares reports and records on flexo technical activities for management review.
• Evaluates current flexo training and practices for accomplishing organizational objectives, and develops and implements improved procedures and practices to promote continuous improvement project to customer.
• Develops and maintains effective training processes of the flexographic printing department employees.
• Periodically reviews and communicates corporate print requirements as compared to the facility capabilities and makes recommendations for continuous improvements.
• Evaluates regularly customer capabilities and facilitates improvement opportunities and staff development.
• Support customer for implementation of auditing system with SOPs & procedures.

Requirements:

• 1st Degree level or equivalent in industrial printing, or a closely related field.
• Minimum 25 years’ experience in training or managing flexographic printing operations.
• Must have high skills and knowledge in the technical field of flexographic printing.
• Must have Mechanical Aptitude, Maths and Computer Skills and Technical Competencies
• Excellent interpersonal, influencing, persuasive leadership and training skills.
• Ability to effectively communicate and maintain working relationships within all levels of the customers.
• Committed to working non-traditional hours, nights and weekends
• Very good interpersonal relationship and a proven ability to deal with people at all levels of the organization
• Enthusiastic and action orientated and possesses integrity and high sense of confidentiality.
• Inspirational Leadership qualities.
• Willingness to travel at short notice Personal Competencies.
