CPPEx Global offers a comprehensive certification program for professional associated with printing, packaging and associated industries. This certification program is well recognized and highly demanded that demonstrates to employers, clients and colleagues that a certified employee possesses sound knowledge, experience, skills and competencies in the printing and packaging field. Our certification program recognizes the competence of an individual to perform his duties as a prepress, press machine operator, supervisor and manager. The certifications are developed and maintained through a vigorous process. The certification program includes;

• Certified Press Operator – CPO
• Certified Print Supervisor – CPS
• Certified Design & Prepress Operator- CDPO
• Certified color Management Technician – CCMT

The CPPEx Global certification program is accredited by the American National Standard Institute (ANSI) against the international organization for standardization (ISO) 12647. Our certifications are distinguished by their global development and application which makes them transferable across printing and packaging industries and geographic borders. This certification program is designed to testify and ensure that all certification holders have demonstrated their competence though fair and valid measure as well as have the qualifications, skill, knowledge, abilities, expertise, experience, training, and education to officially and with authorization practice his/her chosen profession. The professional certification program based on following 10 modules and with consecutive 10 days, eight hours each day in total 80 contact hours.

CPPEx Global understands the importance of impartiality in carrying out its certification activities, manage conflict of interest and ensures the objectivity of its certification activities and entire certification program is supervised by the Certification Governance Panel (CGP).

ELIGIBILITY REQUIRMENTS

To be eligible for the CPPEx Global certification, you must meet certain educational and professional experience requirements. All print and packaging related experience must have been accrued within the last five consecutive years prior to your application submission.

In case of the failure to meet the above eligibility for our certification program, the applicant must complete the 150 contact hour’s pre-certification course.

APPLICATION & PAYMENT

CPPEx Global encourage you to use the online application system to apply all certifications. A printed version of the application is available on a case by case basis and for more details or in case of any question contact our any corporate office or any regional office. Please ensure the following points before submission your application for CPPEx Global certification program.

• Before you begin, check to make sure you meet the certification eligibility requirements and can record the necessary information on the application.

• Once you start an online application, you will have to complete all your information and cannot cancel it.

• Ensure that the application includes your valid, unique email address and phone number as these will be the primary mode of communication from CPPEx Global throughout the certification process.

• You will be required to read and agree to the CPPEx Global code of ethics and professional conduct and the certification application/ renewal agreement.

• Incomplete application for certifications will not be processed or returned.

CPPEx Global strives to process applications for certification in a timely manner. The application timeline depends on how you submit your application- either online using the certification system or on paper sent by postal mail to CPPEx Global.

APPLICATION FEES:

The proper fees for payment are determined by your personal or employer membership status as well as your geographical location. Use the following chart to determine the CPPEx Global certification fee.

The membership rate will apply only if you or your organization is a corporate or associate member of CPPEx Global at the time you submit payment for the certification. If you apply for membership right before you apply for the certification, make sure you receive confirmation of your membership before you pay for the certification. If your membership has not been completely processed before you pay for the certification, you will be charged the non-member fees. The membership is obtained after you submit payment for the certification, CPPEx Global will not refund the difference back to the applicant.

Once application review process will complete, CPPEx Global team will inform the applicant by phone or email about his/her application final status. In case of approval, the next step is to submit the certification payment through online system. The payment $500 or below will be acceptable online system, while higher than this amount, payment will be direct transfer to our any regional office or corporate’s office.

CANCELLATION OR REFUND POLICY

To obtain a refund for the professional certification, you must make a request to CPPEx Global at least 30 days before the training session. After 30 days, paid fees will not be aligned to refund, but the applicant can use this fee within a year for any certification or our training session.

COMPLAINT PROCESS

All complaints regarding training session, professional certifications or “Best operator awards” are governed by the CPPEx Global complaints process that must be received within 30 days of the event/ incident cited, made in filling our online complaint form or writing via email at complaint@cppexglobal.org.

All complaints should include evidence supporting the reason for the complaint and nature of the request, including all reasons why the action or decision should be changed. A complaint must include;

• Name and email address of the complainant
• Date, event name and location of the training session.
• Name against whom the complaint is made, if applicable
• Reference to the CPPEx Global training session, certifications that was violated as per policy.
• A description of how the policy or procedure of training session or certifications was violated.
• Any applicable evidence that support the complaint.

We will acknowledge, in writing, your complaint within 5 days of receipt. If a complaint is missing any necessary information, you will be informed and allowed an additional 15 days to supply the missing information. If the required information is not submitted within that time, the request shall be closed.

The review and validation of the complaint will occur in a constructive, impartial and timely manner. You will be notified of the outcome within 10 business days of the decision being made. A record of the complaint, including any subsequent action(s) taken, and decision made will be maintained by CPPEx Global. All information pertaining to the complaint will remain confidential.

You have the right to escalate your complaint within 10 calendar days of the notification of the decision rendered. The escalation request should be submitted in writing and can be sent via email or mail to our concerning regional representative or our main office. A decision around the escalation will be communicated to you within 10 days of CPPEx Global’s receipt of the escalation request, unless circumstances warrant a delay and if delay is expected, you will be notified.

CERTIFICATION PROCESS

Each certification is valid for three years and after expiration, each individual must take the MCQs based exams for re-certification for next three years.
